A golf cart is the one vehicle we

Two blocks to the pool. Down to the dock. Over to the neighbours. It's the shortest, most ordinary drive of the day — and it's the only one where your child is sitting on a smooth bench with nothing holding them there.
The turn
Bench seats are slick and they slope. A normal corner slides a small child across the whole seat.
The stop
There's no seatbelt to catch them, so the thing that catches them is your right arm — if you get to it in time.

Sit it on the bench
It sits directly on the existing seat. Nothing to unbolt, nothing to drill, no permanent change to your cart.

Pull the straps snug
The anchor straps tighten around the seat back. Hand-tight is the whole installation — no tools in the box because none are needed.

Buckle them in
Five points: two shoulders, two hips, one between the legs. The same geometry you already trust in a car seat.

Five points, because four isn't enough
A lap belt holds the hips. A five-point harness holds the shoulders too — so in a hard stop the load goes across the strongest part of a small body instead of folding them over the belt.

The fit
Adjusts as they grow
Padded shoulder straps move up as they get taller, so the seat that fits a two-year-old still fits them next summer. The padding is there for the boring reason that matters: a strap that rubs is a strap they fight you on.

Five points, not two
A lap belt catches the hips and nothing else, so a small body folds forward over the strap. Five points add both shoulders and a crotch strap, spreading that same force across the strongest parts of a child’s frame and keeping their torso upright rather than hinged.

The seat doesn’t move either
Reinforced anchor straps pull tight around the bench back, so the seat isn’t sliding across smooth vinyl when you take a corner. A child strapped to something that slides is only half strapped in.

It stays right as they grow
The padded shoulder straps move up with them. That matters more than it sounds — a harness only does its job at the correct height, and last summer’s setting is the one everybody forgets to change.

Fast to undo
The quick-release buckle opens in a single movement. Getting them out in a hurry should never be the part you have to think about.
